I recently decided to give the Pilgrim Vitamin C Serum a try. With promises of facial brightness in just five days and a significant reduction in dark spots, I was curious about it, and yet a little confused. After all, many products make big claims but fail to deliver the promised results. However, I’m delighted to share that my experience with this serum has been nothing short of amazing.
Initial Impressions;
The serum has a lightweight, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and hydrated. I appreciated that it didn’t leave any sticky residue, which can be a deal-breaker for me when it comes to skincare products.
My review of Pilgrim Vitamin C serum:

What was the result of the product?
As you can see in every photo, my skink never had any dark spots, to begin with, but as for brightness, I do have to agree that the ‘Pilgrim Vitamin C serum does a great job by making it look softer and brighter even when I’m not in the sunlight.
This is how I noticed the differences after using the serum;
First of all, I want to be clear that being a student, I had to go out multiple times and come in direct contact with the sunlight. As a result, tanning was one thing I couldn’t escape. Due to several reasons, I kept myself from leaning toward any sunscreen.
I go to the gym regularly and spend a few hours working out in front of the mirror, so after using the serum for a few days, I’m now easily able to notice the changes on my face, the serum not only brightened the skin, but also made me look more attractive, that’s how I feel inside, and I also asked some of my friends about the changes and they agreed, however I didn’t tell them anything about the serum, just that I was hydrating well and practicing some overall good routines for both skin and physic.
How long did it take for the product to show results?
As you can see in the screenshot above, I started using the product right after the day I purchased it. And to be honest, certain positive changes started to show in my face right after a few days, just the way it is mentioned in the serum’s description.
In all the pictures I have shared, most have been taken from Poco X6pro, which, for your convenience, adds a certain amount of auto beauty on its own, but I have tried taking original images to the best of my abilities, and luckily, changes are visible.
How did I use the serum?
Here’s the recommended process to apply the serum as you can see in the product’s box;
- First, we must use a facewash,
- Then the serum,
- Apply moisturizer after the two and lastly,
- Apply a sunscreen.
But instead of following the recommended process, I washed my face with clean water and sometimes without a face wash and went for the serum directly. I didn’t even use moisturizer or sunscreen, which could have resulted in brighter and more beautiful skin.
Before and after using the serum:
Although I tried my best to capture original images of my face before using the serum, the changes are not visible through the pictures due to the ‘auto beauty’ mode that Android cameras are built with.
However, I have tried to compare using some of the images which I found appropriate.
Let me be clear: I did notice positive results after using the serum; it’s just that the camera couldn’t portray it well.
